Interviewer: "Have you had any tips from any other Vulcans that preceded you on how to do...?
Blalock: "Unfortunately, I haven't, Unfortunately I haven't. But if I had my choice of talking to anyone it would be definitely, no question, Leonard
Nimoy. And if I was to ask him any question, it would be, 'What does it feel like to know you are going to live forever, long beyond your days?' How's that?"
Interviewer: "Perfect. How do you feel now that the first episode is in the can? How do you feel it all went?"
Blalock: "Brilliantly. And I'm not saying that on the aspect of, just the way it turned out, but just the fact that I'm so proud of the writers, Rick Berman and Brannon
Braga, the way that they are staying so true to Gene Roddenberry's original idea, his original concept. Which is not just about good versus evil, it's about taking, taking humanity into the dangers of illusion or nurturing our imagination. It's about something bigger than all of us. And, and humans are so, so much more capable than of more, more, more than, than what they yet understand. I mean, there are no limits.
Gene Roddenberry, his whole concept was, there are no limits. And that's
why people love, and they grasp to the show, it's because it's so much
bigger, there is something bigger involved here and so being a part of
that, being a part of extending that history, extending that legend is
amazing. It's amazing."
Interviewer: "Well, we wish you all the luck. And have fun."
Blalock: "Thank you."
